Judy Newmark joined the Warner Lab in June 1998 as a co-op student. She worked full time for six months and then part time until she received her B.S. in Biology from Northeastern University in June 1999. After graduation, she entered the M.S. program at Northeastern. She worked on the expression of soluble Qa-2 transcripts in T cells and preimplantation embryos, and she produced a paper on the Ped gene deletion polymorphism frequency in wild mice. In October 2000, she was hired as a full time research scientist in the Warner Lab as a part of the Center for Subsurface Sensing and Imaging Systems (CenSSIS). Her current work is focused on the use of new imaging techniques to non-invasively determine the health and viability of preimplantation embryos. She is concurrently working on an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in biological imaging through the Department of Biology and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Matt Devine Matt is currently in his middler year at Northeastern University as a pre-med biology student. He joined the Warner Lab in July 2008 for his first co-op. Matt grew up in Rhode Island, and graduated from Cumberland High School in 2006. He previously worked in Dr. Stellar's behavioral neuroscience lab dealing with mechanisms of reward processes in rats. Currently, Matt is working on embryonic stem cell culture, and imaging techniques.
